Our story
Established in November 2015 by two secondary school teachers, The Real Ale Classroom was Leicester’s first micropub.

We had done our time in education and were very much ready to do something different, so we swapped life in one classroom for a new start in another significantly different Classroom!
It has been quite a steep learning experience, but our passion for what we do has resulted in our popular, award-winning micropub. We love educating people about the drinks we offer and as in our previous lives, are very keen that all who visit our Classroom have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
